How to anticipate space usage of a bi-gram index and a permuterm index?
I would like to calculate space usage of a permuterm index and a bi-gram
index. The reason is I have very large number of terms to index.
Dictionary property is;
n(as I said it is very large) number of terms
and each of these terms has fixed length lets say k characters and just
characters in it from a-z.
Should I also include the pointer size for dictionary when anticipating
space usage of them? How can I calculate the sizes of them with respect to
dictionary property so that I can choose the one with respect to space
efficiency?
